A MORE NATURAL WAY TO CARE FOR THE FACE
I was drawn to hands-on facial therapy because I wanted a more natural way to care for the face and support the beauty already there. Modern beauty can feel overwhelming. From fillers and Botox to the growing number of machines and treatments available, there is so much to choose from, but it is not always easy to find clear information or know what is truly right for you.
I do not believe there is one right way to age or care for a face. I simply wanted to offer another path, one grounded in knowledge, touch and respect for what is already there.
Becoming a mother gave this work an even deeper meaning. I think about the messages children receive about beauty and ageing, and how easily natural changes can be presented as something that needs correcting. I want children to grow up seeing ageing in both women and men as a natural part of life. I want them to have clear information, the freedom to make their own choices and the confidence to know that caring for themselves does not always mean changing what is naturally theirs.
These values became the foundation of Jules Beauty Studio and the work I do today.
THE PATH THAT SHAPED MY WORK
My background is in beauty, where I began with makeup and facial treatments. For a time, I stepped away from facials. In 2020, I returned to them, and that return marked a new direction in my work.
I began studying facial anatomy and manual therapy, with training in lymphatic techniques, buccal massage, fascia-focused work, acupoint therapy and somatic approaches. Each method added something different to my understanding and gradually changed what I noticed beneath my hands.
Advanced Reface Therapy training in Korea later deepened this knowledge through the study of retaining ligaments and the relationships between fascia, muscles, nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatic pathways. Alongside this hands-on work, I continue studying skin health and Korean treatment methods so I can care for both the skin and the deeper structures of the face.
There is always more to learn, and that ongoing curiosity remains an important part of my work.
HOW I WORK
Each method I practise has its own rhythm and intention. Some follow a precise sequence, while others leave more room for me to adapt the pressure, pace and focus to the person and what I notice during the treatment. What remains constant is the care and attention I bring to each session.
During a treatment, I also pay attention to what is happening beyond the face. The jaw, neck, posture, breath and nervous system can all influence how tension is experienced. This is the somatic part of my work: noticing not only the tissues, but also how the person responds as the treatment unfolds.
Some sessions feel deeply quiet. Others bring awareness to areas a person did not realise they were holding. My intention is to create greater ease through the face, support natural movement and allow a softer, more rested expression to emerge.
When the focus is the skin, I bring the same considered approach, choosing the treatment and supportive steps according to what the skin needs rather than approaching every complexion in exactly the same way.
A QUIET SPACE IN DONCASTER EAST
Jules Beauty Studio is a private, home-based space in Doncaster East, surrounded by greenery and natural sounds. It was created as a place where people can step away from the pace of everyday life, take a breath and settle into their treatment.
The studio is quiet, warm and personal, allowing each appointment to feel calm and attentive. Whether you come for your skin, facial tension or simply a moment of care, my hope is that you leave feeling rested, lighter and more at ease.
WHEN YOU’RE READY
